In 2008, Donatienne left Belgium for Central America and discovered Guatemala. She immediately fell in love with the country—its landscapes, the kindness of its people, and its gentle climate. For over ten years, she has been creating tailor-made travel programs in French and Italian. She also works as a guide in Guatemala and throughout Central America, all the way to Costa Rica. As a collaborator with several European travel agencies, she gives conferences in Europe about the Maya world and Central America. Donatienne will take you from the awe-inspiring pre-Columbian temples to active volcanoes, from colonial towns to colorful Maya markets—always eager to share the depth of indigenous pre-Columbian and contemporary cultures, as well as her passion for the region’s magnificent forests and ecosystems. She heads both the Italian-speaking department and the customized tour division, assisting travelers in designing trips across Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, and Mexico. She is also the local representative for Arts et Cultures en Voyage in Guatemala, Honduras, and Costa Rica.
