Rémi was born and raised in the Guatemalan Highlands. Passionate about music, literature, exploration, and travel, he has been dedicated to guiding travelers and working in tourism for over eight years. A native Spanish speaker, he is also fluent in French and English. Of French-Guatemalan heritage and deeply attached to Guatemala and its ancestral Maya traditions, Rémi will share with you the beauty of the Mesoamerican lands, his deep knowledge of the region, and his personal favorites.

In addition to designing and developing travel itineraries, he regularly accompanies our customized tours. He also guides for the French travel agency Allibert Trekking and leads Mayaexplor’s team of driver-guides. (Guiding in French, English, and Spanish.)
